The IWC Pilot's Watch with reference IW371802,
better known as the Spitfire Double Chronograph, is a striking and technically sophisticated model from the long-established Pilot's Watch series from IWC Schaffhausen.
The case is made of stainless steel and measures an impressive 44 mm in diameter and approximately 17 mm thick.
The silver dial is a typical feature of the Spitfire series, ensuring optimal legibility with its printed Arabic numerals, black subdials, and clear minute track. The hands are coated with luminous material, allowing for reliable timekeeping even in the dark.
A sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both sides protects the dial and is protected against pressure drops – an important feature in pilot's watches that IWC consistently implements.
